As humanity and planet Earth face imminent doom, a righteous man named Mikhal manages to escape with his people and as many animals as he can in his spaceship: The Ark "Genesis 8”. After 14 months they settled on the exoplanet Theia 2.0. This event signals a new beginning and is remembered as the “Reborn-Day”.

Through generations they manage to find balance and develop a thriving civilization until the unexpected happens, the “Reborn Animals” start to evolve rapidly and begin — without explanation – to develop their own language, walk on two legs, a conscience and an intelligent brain; making them more “human than human”. Society is torn by this evolution, bringing boiling conflict where only one race can dominate and thrive. What caused this rapid evolution? What alliances will be made? Who will survive or perish?

Factions

Valikians (Birds)

"Pray to the the sky, for one day the plumed deity will descend from it"

A highly spiritual and harmonious faction formed by birds of all species. Valikians praise the Kukulkan spirit which according to their scriptures comes to life every 200 years to bring balance in the universe.

They try to avoid conflict at all costs but of are masters of the bow and arrow, their signature weapon, making them a fearing force on long range combat. Highly superstitious and untrusting of foreign factions, they remain very mysterious on their ways.

Children of Wrath (Humans)

"Our wrath shall come upon those who are deemed wicked"

Lead by commander Rah, they are an extremist radicalized group that has splintered from the main human faction: The Sons of Mikhal. They believe humans are meant to remain the dominant species in Theia 2.0 and seek to revert the evolution of “Reborn Animals” by any means necessary and bring them back to their former state before colonization.

This violent group’s volatile behavior makes them a very dangerous threat, who constantly uses scare tactics to intimidate their enemies.

Order of Tonnus (Felines)

"Loyalty and Honor Above All"

A monarchy lead by Queen Shadia for the last 35 years, they are a proud and noble faction formed by felines over the last 12 generations.

Since the colonization of Theia, the Order of Tonnus felines have not let other species dominate them, thus forming a powerful and strong brotherhood among them which focuses on keeping peace by strengthening their offensive skills and making allies with other factions.

The Toh’ Loks (Lizards)

"We seek, we find, we transform"

Possessors of a rich history and tradition, they were once dedicated to farming and trading, making them one of the most resourceful factions. They have some of the best trained hand-to-hand warriors, who can also be blooded and cunning when it comes to combat.

The Toh’ Loks have recently become a very fragmented faction internally. Not being able to completely unify, they have seen many internal insurrections in order to gain control.

Kwitkilians (Insects)

"Invention is the road to evolution"

Famous for building the most advanced city in Theia, Helion "the city of tomorrow".

They possess impressive intelligence. Their methodical and almost robotic behavior has made them the most advanced faction. One of the most unified societies who have excelled in developing technology far ahead from any other group, their advancement have benefitted of all Theians.

United Forces of Merid (Humans)

"The fight for equity is never ending"

This human faction lives to honor and keep their ancestor Mikhal’s ideology alive. After seeing the rapid evolution of animals in Theia 2.0, Mikhal strongly believed that humans and animals could be equal and peacefully coexist.

Humans initially brought some valuable and vital resources from their original planet Earth, but have struggled to successfully manage Theia 2.0’s resources over the last 300 years.

On the last two generations a few members have left to start their own factions with hidden agendas and extreme ideologies.

The Ark Exodus is a personal experiment I’ve had in my mind for a long time, by bringing my 15+ years experience in the comic book industry and put it to the test, pushing myself in creative ways to tell the stories I want to tell now. I’m looking forward to share these creations and hopefully share with an audience the passion I have for this new journey."

About Jorge Molina

Jorge Molina has been a creative force in the comic book and video game industry for the past 15 years. After being an exclusive artist at Marvel for 8 years, he has made numerous contributions as an artist, designer and creator on titles such as Star Wars, Spiderman, Thor, Avengers and the X-Men.

Recently, Jorge made his debut on DC comics as Batman’s main artist, working not only on interior and cover art, but also designing new characters and suits for his iconic run on the Dark Knight.

His passion for video games and design has also led him to pursuit a career in video games. Jorge has worked as a concept designer for Activision, Crystal Dynamics and Zynga Eugene, and recently at The Initiative, one of Microsoft’s biggest game developer studios, where his talents were essential in establishing the look on the new Perfect Dark video game (in development) as a character & concept designer.

Jorge’s urge to create has now lead him to establish his own universe, The Ark Exodus.x
